ARTS & CULTURE: Cancel Culture
Ft. Sean Bw Parker, MA
Cancel culture isn't a new phenomenon, but it seems to be persisting for the long haul, especially during the Trump era. Not only is free speech threatened, but arts and culture are also at risk—all fueled by cancel culture and political extremism. Groups like Just Stop Oil portray left-wing activists as dangerous and brutal, while the conservative side continues to recruit more supporters. Is there a way to break this cycle?
Today, we have a special guest joining us from across the ocean! Sean Bw Parker (MA) is a British artist, writer, and musician with a focus on painting, poetry, cultural theory, and justice reform. He's here to engage in a lively discussion with us, minimal questions, maximum conversation. This episode is truly one of a kind, crafted especially for the holiday season!
