When Morgan was fifteen years old, her mother died due to medical malpractice, just three days after Morgan's birthday. 

Her family suddenly had to navigate a legal system they knew nothing about, while grieving an unimaginable loss. ​ That experience shaped Morgan’s belief that every person deserves a voice in the justice system. ​ 

Morgan later became a lawyer and built her own law practice from the ground up. She began by meeting clients in local libraries, and later opened Caruso Law Offices, where she grew the the firm while raising her young family. ​

Her career has been defined by advocating for fairness, accountability, and respect for every person who enters the courtroom.
