ACTIVISM: Free Palestine Activism
Ft. Janos Jalics
Palestinian liberation is a topic we've touched on before on this podcast, including the history of the conflict between Palestine and Israel. However, beyond the modern history, it's important to discuss the origins of Zionism, how it began and how it has become a justification for genocide and crimes against humanity.
It's also time to highlight current boycotts and how they support people across the Middle East and in the countries targeted by Israeli forces. We need to speak up and advocate for freedom in Palestine!
Janos is an activist and organizer based in Cleveland, affiliated with the Democratic Socialists of America's Cleveland Chapter and the Cleveland Palestine Activist Network. Over the past three to five years, Janos has been actively protesting against the occupation and genocide of Palestinians by Israeli forces and Zionist policies across the United States. Their activism has ranged from advocating for boycotts to fasting in support of Palestinian liberation.
