New show? Nope, same show, new look, and definitely a new name!

After some time and rebranding, we’ve decided to rename our show. Político with Juan Collado Díaz became the subject of a dispute with the media giant POLITICO. They demanded payment for a name change and even asked us to give up our domain for free.

As a form of protest, we’re changing our name to Polítiko with Juan Collado Díaz That K makes a big difference and we hope you see it too!

We’re here for the long run. Stay Polítikal, and don’t let media giants defeat you!

DISCLAIMER

On the advice of our legal counsel, we decided not to sign the agreement because we believed it did not benefit the podcast, us, or the Inquisitor Media team.

The agreement would have required us to provide POLITICO (a known media giant) with our domain, logo, and brand without compensation, assets we had independently paid for before Inquisitor Media existed. We were concerned that the proposed terms could allow our brand and the podcast’s likeness to be used without our consent or fair compensation.

We chose to stand our ground, and we did.
