About the Guest

Jennifer "JJ" Shaw is a distinguished former Air Force Sergeant and dedicated educator within the Cleveland school system. While teaching at John Marshall High School, she took the courageous initiative to establish the school's Gay-Straight Alliance. Despite facing numerous challenges and a lack of support from her superiors, JJ’s unwavering commitment and leadership transformed the JMHS GSA into one of the largest LGBTQ+ clubs in the Cleveland Metropolitan Area. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and caring for her beloved puppies, as well as actively engaging in her community.
